This was a hard site to see. In Marombi we went
to a genocide memorial that brought tears to my eyes. About
fifty thousand people were killed at this site. In this
video you will hear the story of a man who lost his entire
family. Although the genocide happened in 1994 he
discovered where his family was buried while we were in
Rwanda. You will also notice the hole in his skull. That is
where he was shot. As you enter the classroom you smell
decaying bodies. Bodies are displayed on tables throughout
the entire school. These bodies were dug out of the mass
grave at the genocide site. It is amazing how crewel people
can be when hatred is nurtured. One day I look forward to
meeting the people of Marombi when Jesus comes.
